Spicy (Hot) Mixed Nuts

1 Tbsp olive oil           

2 cups uncooked nuts (i.e., almonds, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, Brazil nuts, and so forth.)                  

1 tsp Stevia                 

1 tsp curry powder     

1 tsp floor cumin    

1 tsp floor coriander

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp kosher salt (if desired)

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

half tsp turmeric


1. Preheat oven to 250 deg. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.   

2. In medium-sized bowl, toss oil and nuts till properly coated.

three. Add the remaining elements and blend nicely to coat evenly.

four. Transfer the nuts to the ready pan and organize in a single layer.    

5. Bake till frivolously browned, stirring sometimes, 25 to 30 minutes.

6. Remove from oven, instantly loosen the nuts with a spatula; put aside to chill earlier than serving.



Spicy (Sweet) Walnuts

1 egg white, calmly crushed                  

1 Tbsp water              

three cups walnut halves              

1/four cup Stevia (or much less in accordance with style)    

1/2 tsp kosher salt (if desired)

1 tsp floor cinnamon

1/2 tsp floor cloves

1/2 tsp floor nutmeg


1. Preheat oven to 300 deg. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.   

2. In a small bowl, beat the egg whites with the water. Stir within the walnuts, mixing till properly moistened. Set apart.   

three. In one other small bowl, combine collectively Stevia, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.  Sprinkle over the moistened nuts; stir frivolously. Spread nuts on ready pan.    

four. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes; stir incessantly (each Eight-10 minutes) with a spatula. Be cautious to not overcook; they burn shortly. 

5. Remove from oven and loosen walnuts instantly with a spatula; they cool in a short time and can stick collectively. Set apart to chill earlier than serving.
