    FYI, the idea that skipping a meal, or even two, will slow down your metabolism is a myth. There is now quite a bit of research to show that just isn't the case (some of it fairly old). I just did a quick Google search again, and every science based article I found enumerated a number of factors affecting your Basal Metabolic Rate, and none of them included number of meals, or meal-time of day.
