Fans have seen the Baby Faced Assassin just run laps around a defense for 48 minutes straight. His motor is impressive even for a professional athlete. But he isn’t the only one from the Curry family who is a fitness freak. Even his wife, Ayesha Curry is a role model for moms all around the world. The mother of three claims to have been on a fitness journey ever since having Canon, her second child. In order to find any kind of success though the New York Times best-selling author had to let go of her “twisted” mentality.

As the wife of an NBA great, the 33-year-old has watched Steph Curry’s crazy workouts that help him be in shape. For an everyday human, it would be a nightmare to keep up with the routine of the two-time MVP. But when Ayesha Curry began her fitness journey, for some reason she did just that.

While talking to the host of 30-minute meals, Rachel Ray, the entrepreneur spoke about dropping 35 pounds during the pandemic and comparisons with husband Stephen Curry.

The 33-year-old cookbook author made waves after news hit about her jaw-dropping 35-pound weight loss. To discuss her incredible transformation, Rachel Ray got on Ayesha Curry as a guest on her show. While on the panel, the Sweet July entrepreneur spoke about her ’80-20′ lifestyle and taking things easy. But the most critical sacrifice she made in order to achieve that mentality was to let go of an inner competition she had with her husband, Steph.

Speaking on the Rachel Ray show, she said, “I was competing in my own weird, twisted way with my very athletic husband, [thinking] that I had to do all of the things that he was doing in order to find my balance and stay fit.”

As one can predict, the mother of three often lost these competitions with her NBA husband. Considering the four-time champion is one of the most active players on the court, her shot at matching his routine was always slim. Add on her plethora of responsibilities and it would only be a troublemaker.

The restaurateur found herself getting much better results when she adjusted to her own body. The 33-year-old doesn’t follow traditional diet plans. Ayesha Curry prioritizes enjoying her life. She now finds the right balance by adapting to healthier alternatives. As a chef, it couldn’t have been hard to come up with delicious healthy recipes. In addition, her workouts comprise more cardio and activities such as trekking.
