Hi mates! How was the weekend? I hope you had a tremendous one. This weblog put up is a solution to deliver it again old fashioned and share some extra actual-life adventures. Quite a couple of of you let me know that you just missed the model of running a blog from the previous (I do, too!) so I’m attempting to do it in a method that’s low-key and nonetheless targeted on my expertise, as a substitute of the children’ expertise if that is smart? It might be difficult as a result of the children are clearly an enormous a part of my life (and by far the most fun and such an pleasing a part of my life). I’m nonetheless attempting to navigate running a blog in a method that feels genuine to me with out overdoing it on child content material, whereas persevering with to create worth-pushed posts, too.

If you guys take pleasure in this and wish extra on a regular basis-model posts, let me know!

This weekend was a wild one and filled with so many enjoyable adventures. Friday night time, we went to a neighborhood fall competition with the fam. My dad, stepmom, aunt, cousins, Kyle and Meg, and their kiddos had been all there.

We additionally bumped into so many acquainted faces that night! Tucson is a small world, however feels smaller the longer we keep right here.

BEFORE fall competition, the Pilot took P to a party whereas I took Liv to bounce, so P had double enjoyable occasions. The children performed in the impediment programs, received their faces painted, did the cake stroll and bingo factor, and it was a blast.

Saturday morning, P had a soccer sport, I took care of some work stuff and chores, after which one in all Liv’s finest mates came visiting for a sleepover.

We took the crew to sushi at Ginza,

(dress is here! Heads up that it runs large, so should you’re in between sizes, I’d measurement down)

after which picked up one in all P’s mates so she would have a buddy, too. We headed to the mall, the place the youthful children hit up the big arcade with the Pilot, the older women and I went to Claire’s and received boba teas.

We made it again to the arcade for some bike races, Dance Dance Revolution, after which grabbed ice cream earlier than P’s buddy went residence.

(they’re 10 and method cooler than I’ll ever be)

Sleepover breakfast was crepes! I hadn’t made them in years, however used this recipe (added a little bit vanilla to it) they usually got here out rather well! The children beloved constructing their very own crepes with bananas, strawberries, Nutella, marshmallow fluff, and we served every part up with crispy bacon, hash browns, and orange juice.

Later that afternoon, we noticed Lion King at Centennial Hall! TBH I are likely to really feel a little bit meh about Lion King (I believe I simply overdid it from watching the film 1800 occasions in the 90s with my JTT obsession), however the reside manufacturing is so completely different. The costumes are set design are really breathtaking, and all of us beloved it.

Also value noting that Broadway in Tucson has STEPPED UP their theatre snack and drinks sport. They had charcuterie packing containers, hummus and veggie packing containers, chocolate gummy worm pudding for the children, wine, beer, big cookies — 10/10 suggest a snack cease should you’re seeing a present.

(dress is here, Liv’s plaid outfit here, and sure, she’s nearly as tall as me!)

Sunday night time dinner was filet with asparagus, home made sourdough, salad equipment (we’re followers of the dill pickle salad child from Whole Foods), and a little bit wine to cap off the weekend.

I ended up taking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off from the health club, so I’m feeling refreshed and able to get again into my exercise mojo this week. If you wish to be a part of us for Fit Team, the link is here! New exercises exit on Wednesday and I’m filming a brand new mobility exercise for the platform this afternoon.

I hope you will have a cheerful Monday and I’ll see ya quickly!

What was the spotlight of your weekend? Any enjoyable sleepover breakfast concepts? I often do pancakes, however crepes had been a great way to change issues up.

xoxo
