Basic-Fit enters Castilla-La Mancha and signs two more openings in Asturias and Leganés

Basic-Fit continues to open new markets on Spanish soil. The Dutch gym company has debuted in Castilla-La Mancha with its first center in Toledo. With this opening, the low-cost gym chain is already present in 13 autonomous communities. It only needs to be launched in La Rioja, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and Extremadura, a region where the construction of a center in Don Benito is underway.
The company has inaugurated 14 clubs in the first two and a half months of the year in Spain. The chain plans to invest more than 52 million euros to launch 40 sports centers throughout this year, as advanced 2playbook. Currently, the company already has more than twenty of the projects in the construction phase that will see the light of day in the coming months.
In addition to the club inaugurated on Avenida de Madrid in Toledo, this month, Basic-Fit has inaugurated two other gyms, one in Oviedo and another in Leganés. With these openings, the fitness chain already has two centers open in Asturias and 48 in the Community of Madrid.
With 104 operating clubs in the Spanish market, Basic-Fit is the chain of gyms low cost with more centers in the country. The chain billed 34.9 million euros in Spain in 2022, 64% year-on-year more, in a year in which 34 gyms were launched. The company has set the goal of opening between 450 and 650 clubs in Spain, and between 3,000 and 3,500 in Europe, by 2030.
