It seems too early and quick to apply the nickname “Generation Lockdown” to Generation Z since a lot can happen in a few years. Some countries might do better than others once the pandemic is over, or—regardless of where members of the current generation live—resiliency will show itself upon them based on how flexible they are to navigate the world regardless of what happens.

Why go to those schools when you literally have all of the same resources online?

only difference is still the prestige.

The difference between career political epidemiologists like Dr. Fauci desperately trying to remain relevant and in power and the actual honest non politicized scientists in the world, are worlds apart. listen to what the leading microbiologist that make the vaccines is actually saying about a vaccines likelihood and effectiveness, what is now known from the data how weak virulence this virus actually has and who is at risk and should be taking precautions while the rest allow herd immunity to run its coarse to acquire T-Cell antibodies immunity to snuff the virus. globalnews.ca/news/7085775/coronavirus-vaccine-false-hope/

I'm in this situation right now. Stucked in Spain waiting to come back to activities since March 13th. I had online classes and now supposed to be on "vacation". Don't have the enough money nor feel really safe to go out like others. I wonder how people who are applying roght now for their future feel like.

The virus is a plan to reduce the world population by 95 per cent by giving people a vaccine that alters your DNA and gives you cancer.

Going out, doing activities, meeting new people also takes up money somewhere or the other. Not like €3-4 would pinch me once but if I do that even thrice a week, my expenditure for the whole month would go up.

According to information space diagnostics ISD (diagtor.com.ua) there are 7 types of coronavirus. Coronaviruses choose a specific place of their reproduction depending on the type: type 1 – in the respiratory system, 2 – in the heart, 3 – in the respiratory and nervous systems, 4 – in the nervous system, 5 – in the heart, 6 – in the digestive system, 7 – in the reproductive and hematopoietic-immune systems. The third and fourth types of coronaviruses are fatal, their share is 6%, the rest of the viruses are weakly dangerous. Coronavirus is treated with malic acid stabilized by MAS in 1-3 doses. MAS is obtained by ISD technology by stabilizing microcrystals of the well-known malic acid. MAS also changes the structure of water in the blood and eliminates the adhesion of red blood cells, which contributes to an increase in life expectancy by 82%. MAS also suppresses in the body all other pathogenic viruses (cancer, AIDS, herpes, flu, etc.), bacteria, fungi, and at the same time is completely safe.

Nowadays this virus is a teacher! Coronavirus biggest lessons for the human :
care about others' life conditions, to guarantee your own life.
People of all races are the same, stop prejudice and racism.
Justice in your doctrine is different from the justice of God. In front of God, all people are the same and He gives them either rewarding or punishment according how they behave towards other people.

no friend. no activities. lectures only through online. I am worried about their mental health.

The transmitter does not say that the corona is a lie !! And should go without masks because the fresh air is healthier !! And exclusion is nonsense. And cleanliness we have always maintained is the one that is a partner in the spread of the virus remember this !!

Material for thought to the wise.! The number of viruses in the world is the same as the number of cells in the body. They are all disease-causing. That can cause death. So why do you want to pamper me just by vaccinating Corona? And they will not prepare a personal vaccine for all the existing viruses. That way I will be able to live forever. And Bill Gates will continue to be the richest man in the world !! Pucci think about it !!

This is officially the end of the USA… if there are no international students, the backbone to the US economy and social and political status will fall… the truth is, the only thing that makes America great is the opportunity it offers, and if the prestigious private universities loose their prestige, then the only thing holding is together is the tech companies…

Obviously international student enrollment is a big part of the drop and people having a hard time economically and worried about quality of online classes could cause a lot of new students to put off college enrollment until the situation improves. Very sad but we really need to lower expectations of quickly returning to normal. This is a very serious crisis and politicians and citizens need to start acting like adults and accept that we are in this for the long haul.

There are three main reasons why students choose Germany over other countries:
    1. Reasonable tuition fee (when I was a student in 2013-2014 I paid 200 euros pro semester vs. 7500 dollars in Canada as an international student…quite a difference lol)
    2. Students are allowed to work with no extra visa. Again, as an international student in Canada I had to apply extra for work permit and took me 3 months to get it.
    3. People still see Germany as a country with strong economy which will hire and create a growing working market.

Plus let's not forget brezel and beer 😀

I never knew you can have the flu virus and be asymptomatic until following the coronavirus questions here on DW. I'm 30 and "never had the flu", living in a big city, using public transport a lot, the whole shebang. Just very mild common colds that go away in a day or two, a week max once in a blue moon, never serious enough to seek medical help. But who knows.

It differs from country to country but where i live the issue is that the universities made no concessions to the students at all, plus the scholarship was exactly the same as before. Instead of covid being some sort of a relief to the students, it just became even harder to pass a year.

I think you're missing also a very big component which is the sudden increase of university fees in France , which went from none to 2500 and 3500€. This also contribues to the shift.
