Distrito Estudio reaches 11 clubs and plans to open between 4 and 6 more this year

The Galician chain of boutique gyms Distrito Estudio has inaugurated its fourth club in Madrid, the eleventh for the company. The new space occupies a 300 m2 premises at number 34 Conde Duque street and begins its activity with more than 300 registered members.
Conde Duque District, which is what the new center is called, is located in the same space that has previously been used by the Reebok brand as a product showroom and space for corporate events, as reported by CMDsport. The new study, which operates under a franchise regime, has involved an investment of close to 280,000 euros and the generation of five jobs. Its capacity is 35 people every hour for the different activities that the company offers.
New Balance Store
The new center also has a commercial space for New Balance, a multinational with which it has worked hand in hand since its inception and which is the only chain of official centers internationally. In the space co-managed by both brands, the Distrito Estudio client will find the most innovative collections and all the most appropriate sports equipment for the practices that are taught in the centers. In addition, both companies collaborate holding sessions of team building in sports centers and group training sessions.
More than 4,000 partners
With this opening, the Galician company reaches eleven operating centers, located in Vigo (2), Pontevedra, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, Malaga and Madrid (4). With this opening, the company has reached 4,350 “Distriters” members.
The company’s plans for 2023 are to open 4 to 6 more centers, preferably in Madrid, Andalusia and Levante.
For this, Distrito Estudio is aimed at entrepreneurs and investors who are looking for a business model with reduced investment, with an estimated investment recovery period of three years. In addition, it recently launched a new business model that involves the possibility of setting up a sports boutique for the chain with less investment and space. It is a new format for premises that have Premium characteristics -excellent location, façade, and distribution- but are around 350-400 m2. In this case, the company affirms that the investment is reduced to 250,000 – 350,000 euros and the investment recovery period is 3.3 years.
Distrito Estudio is also currently selecting businessmen in the sector, who already have one or more operational sports centers, but wish to improve their income statement by integrating into a brand that, during 2021, increased its turnover by 242%.
