Do you want to dance and exercise in the Women’s Race…

The festival of sport and solidarity arrives in Gran Canaria with the start of the Women’s Race circuit in Las Palmas on Sunday March 12. In the finish area located at the Las Canteras Beachnext to the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, all the participants will be able to enjoy live the music, dance and exercise sessions that the monitors of GO Fit Las Palmas, BalletFit® and Zumba® have prepared for them.
The festival will kick off with a performance by Team D’Luxe at 11:00 a.m. and immediately afterwards we will begin exercising with the Central Lechera Asturiana warm-up session led by the monitors of GO Fit Las Palmas: yasmine and sandra which will continue with a Dance session to the rhythm of the latest music.
At 11:45 a.m. Diana Serena of Zumba® will go on stage to continue with the best choreographies. Zumba® is a global lifestyle brand that fuses fitness, entertainment and culture into one exciting dance exercise. Zumba® classes combine upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography to provide effective total-body workouts. Founded in 2001, the company is now the world’s largest fitness program with 15 million people in more than 185 countries.
At 12 noon the music of Team D’Luxe returns and immediately afterwards we will enjoy a session of BalletFit® with Claudia Mena and Xaila Falcon. They will be in charge of giving this session that fuses classical dance technique with fitness, working on strength, coordination, toning, balance and flexibility, involving the whole body in cardiovascular exercises to the rhythm of music.
GO Fit Las Palmas will continue with TOTAL FITan activity in which we will work on high intensity training combining intervals of cardiovascular work with others of muscular strength.
And the return to calm will also be done with the monitors of GO Fit and its ZEN discipline, a choreographed session that combines the best of various methods (Pilates, Yoga, TaiChi and Stretching). A perfect combination of strength, stability, posture, joint mobilization and relaxation.
