NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A cluster of COVID-19 instances centered in Green Hills has been traced again to an assisted dwelling facility, the Metro Public Health Department stated Tuesday.

The health division launched its weekly “heatmap” earlier this week, displaying the “hotspots” for Nashville’s 1,060 energetic coronavirus instances, with the best focus seen in Green Hills.

News 2 asked the Metro Public Health Department for the rationale behind the spike in instances. Health division spokesperson Brian Todd stated it was the results of a cluster of instances on the Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, an assisted dwelling facility on Hillsboro Circle.

While Todd didn’t have the precise variety of energetic instances on the facility, a Metro Public Health Department report obtained by News 2 Monday night showed 43 cases had been confirmed on the facility.

The “heatmap” additionally confirmed one other lesser “hotspot” rising in 12South; nonetheless, Todd stated the rationale for that was not instantly clear.
