    Thank you Brett! I've never had any formal training in yoga but have put a lot of time and commitment into my daily practice and honestly don't think I was moving my hips quite right in this posture until I did it just now. Wild. I've been wanting to do teacher training to strengthen my knowledge because I love yoga so much but also because I plan to open my own healing center with yoga one day. I recently had to leave what I would call my home studio (the place I practiced at several times a week) after almost 3 years of practicing there which has been really hard on me on so many levels. I felt it was time to move on because of how I felt I was being treated by one of the owners and when I confronted her the conflict got worse and I started to feel bullied. I am a very sensitive woman and had put my heart and soul into this studio and felt like such a part of it. Its been a hard transition but I'm believing that there is something even better in store for me now. Anyway total overshare but thank you for going over the basics. As we practice its essential to revist these fundamentals!๐Ÿ’–โ˜ฎ

    Thanks for these videos, they give great finer points, reminders and alternatives. You mention Warrior poses in this vid, is that one still to be uploaded on YouTube, I still struggle with Warrior 1 and 2 some days, the hip alignment to the front. Thanks Brett!

    Thank you!! I have a yoga class today and am quite new at this and 63 years old. I feel first and foremost that I have to remind myself that it is not a competition to see who can achieve the ultimate pose ……. it is to accept what my body is capable of doing, at this stage in my life.     Hi Brett, I love this video with you showing someone who isnโ€™t very flexible how to get into different poses. Do you have more of these? Or more coming? I think it is helpful to see these poses in all different shapes and ranges of mobility. Helpful for me as a teacher!!
