Using up all of your products is so important! I feel like people get picked up in the trendiness of eco-friendly things and then they still just buy a tonnnn of products!

Great summary and tips, ladies! It's so important for consumers to understand that "green" beauty still creates waste. Many containers of "green" beauty products sadly still end up in the landfill.

Definitely heading to the low waste side of my makeup skin care and body care. Also what I found to be the hardest to find that’s low waste is lip gloss I really enjoy the glossy finish it gives my lips but there very few options out there on the low waste beauty community.

I love elate's packaging! I wonder why more companies don't just sell refill pans? it would probably save them a lot of money

I think having the stats in the beginning was super impactful! I LOVE Elate! I haven't tried everything but I do like what I have from them. The hardest thing for me is finding low waste mascara! Thanks for a great video! 🙂

Definitely low waste mascara and eyeliner (that are affordable) are impossible to find. Powder eyeshadow can come in just the tin but the above two, ideas?

I find liquid foundations a tough one! On one hand, yes, they can come in glass packaging, but on the other hand, liquids in glass packing can be frustrating for both supplier and consumer for many factors (SO much breakage, more weight, usually more product is wasted).

I'm so surprised that this channel is so small, the content and presentation are so great, the setting looks quite professional, your voices are so nice to listen to and the camera quality is quite decent.
I also love the notion that "clean" and "vegan" should not be the only selling factors as an environmentally friendly consumer, the plastic packaging can be quite excessive on these products too and while the I agree that small steps should be supported I am often faced with the problem that I have to choose between organic/ethical/fairtrade/clean products with excessive unrecyclable packaging and the regular products with more sustainable packaging and sometimes it's so hard for me to choose which cause to support, because all of that is important and worth supporting.
Pushing the ethical and sustainable brands towards sustainable packaging is really the only way to go.
