State Monitoring 2 Coronavirus Outbreaks At Avon Facilities

AVON, CT — The state Department of Public Health is monitoring two outbreaks of COVID-19 in Avon amenities, WTNH reported. Avon Health Care nursing residence has reported 22 residents have examined constructive. Three of these residents are within the hospital and one has died.

Fourteen employees members at Avon Health Care have also examined constructive. DPH has begun contact tracing and is conducting further testing, in keeping with WTNH.

An outbreak at Residence at Brookside assisted dwelling in late September has resulted in 11 resident circumstances and the dying of an 86-year-old man.
