Method:
1. Pressure cook dinner the potatoes for 2 whistles. Cool and mash them.
2. Soak the chana dal for about an hour till it expands in dimension. Pressure cook dinner for 2 whistles and put aside to chill.
3. In a kadai place the spinach leaves with a tbsp of water and wilt it. Once the leaves are wilted, drain the surplus water if any, and let it cool. Once cooled, grind to a wonderful paste.
4. Add the boiled mashed chana dal into the mashed potato combine. Mix within the spinach puree. 5. 5. Add salt and grated ginger, combine properly.
6. Add besan and knead the mash. Check should you can form the mash along with your hand.
If it’s too sticky, add extra besan.
7. Shape them into small tikkis.
8. Heat ghee in a griddle. Once sizzling, place the tikkis on the griddle. Cook on each side until the surface is crispy.
