For weeks, the Venezuelan athlete Sascha Fitness, has been in the eye of the hurricane after some statements about their products came out, in which they assure that they do not comply with certain standards and invited people not to consume it.

Several years ago, after her first pregnancy, Sascha Barboza decided to develop a line of products aimed at enhancing the immune system and increasing energy levels. They contain enzymes that help improve digestion, preventing constipation, stomach upset, gas and bloating.

“This complaint was filed on the institute’s website, where they reported on the marketing and promotion, through the Sascha Fitness Colombia website, of dietary supplements without health records and with unapproved statements”, read in an article on the portal WEEK.

Consumption was suspended in Colombia, which caused the influencer to defend herself to ensure that the commercialization in the coffee country is in order and explained that they were manufactured in USA, in laboratories with the highest quality standards.

“In 2020, we received a complaint from a non-governmental entity, a law firm in California, alleging that two of our protein flavors, the ones that contain cocoa, exceeded the California limit for lead.”wrote.

“We reached an agreement with this firm not to go to a trial that could be delayed, I repeat, it was not the California government, they are a law firm that is dedicated to that, to find all the successful brands in the market of different items that cross the limits of California”he explained.
