Anytime Fitness Iberia gathers its team in its fourth annual conference

Anytime Fitness, the world’s largest chain of convenience gyms, brought together his entire family in Spain just a week ago in the Barcelona town of Vilanova i la Geltrú to celebrate their annual conference. An event that celebrates its fourth edition in our country, in which its franchisees, coaches and managers, suppliers and the national and international teams of the franchise in our country meet.

Partners who once again found in this event the perfect place to present their services and news, and were able to strengthen relations with the franchisees that the firm has added in its eleven years of life in our country.

“It is an honor and enormous pride to be able to celebrate this annual conference surrounded by so many providers who accompany us on our way to continue betting on fitness and health. It is a pleasure to have shared space with all of them these days and to strengthen the relationship that already unites us. As with our teams and franchisees, without our suppliers our leadership would be impossible”, adds Devereaux.

An agenda designed according to the 4 Ps of the franchise

Based on the four pillars that its founders, Dave Mortensen and Chuck Runyon, raised in the creation of the franchise, the agenda once again complied with its 4Ps: People, Purpose, Profits & Play (people, purpose, benefits and play).

“Celebrating the annual conference is for us synonymous with being able to get even closer to the most important players in our business, being able to teach them everything we do every day for and for them, showing them once again that our work is focused on continuing to win brand awareness and profitability for all our clubs, our own and franchisees”, qualifies Enrique Iranzo, director of Operations at Anytime Fitness Iberia.

In the three days of the conference, the attendees had time to visit the vendors’ stands at the fair set up for the occasion; share laughter and play in the teambuilding activity of team competition; to know first-hand the novelties that the franchise will land in Spain in the coming months, as well as the novelties of the different departments; share experiences, best practices and concerns; and of course learn from industry experts, through different training presentations or creative workshops.

“We wanted to excite and make this conference a place of training and fun. At the end, we wanted our team spirit to be even stronger than it was on the first day. We came to this conference with an immense desire to demonstrate that together we are more, that together we will continue to take giant steps to continue leading the sector by loving our work every day. Focus on technology

The most outstanding presentation on the agenda was given by Ashley Vickers, International Operations Manager of Anytime Fitness, who traveled to Spain from the United States to convey to attendees the message that the present and future of Anytime Fitness is linked to the cutting edge and technology.

A bet that those present lived in first person thanks to the gamification of the teambuilding tests and the group training sessions with the MyZone heart rate measuring devices, or the demos of body composition scans from another preferred provider of the franchise: Evolt .

Two technological companies that were joined by others dedicated to the development of payment platforms, management, security, etc. and suppliers from other sectors, exceeding thirty exhibitors.

Runningman Awards

Without a doubt, the most emotional moment was experienced during the delivery of the IV Runningman Awards at the gala dinner that was held the first night of the event. Some awards that recognize the excellent work of its franchisees, their teams, their partners and their suppliers.

“Our annual conference is the perfect setting to deliver our awards, and to acknowledge to all attendees how much we value their effort and the value they bring to our franchise, helping us to continue to be a benchmark in the sector, to continue demonstrating that health and fitness form the perfect tandem”, says Tim Devereaux.
