Denise Austin, 66, Is So Toned in Blue Leotard From ‘30 Years Ago’

For Halloween, Denise Austin dressed up as herself… from 30 years ago. The fitness enthusiast shared a “then and now” photo on Instagram in which she wore a blue exercise leotard from the ’90s. She perfectly recreated the throwback snap, striking the same pose and everything.

“Flashback Friday!!! Then and Now!! It’s so much fun to re-live these incredible memories!” she captioned the post, adding that she wore the blue unitard “over 30 years ago” while filming her TV show. “WOW I am so HAPPY I saved it!!” she continued. “I feel just as great in it now as I did back then!! That’s why I believe so much in daily movement!! Exercising regularly, even if it’s just going on a walk can work wonders for your health!!! You deserve to always feel your best…Because YOU are worth it!”

Fans and followers fired off praise for the 66-year-old in the comment section. “Better with age!!” one person commented. “Still strong and beautiful!!😍😍,” another added. “You are amazing and an inspiration for all of us!” someone else wrote.

Austin is always sharing her favorite ways to stay active later in life, including easy cardio workouts to boost metabolism, 10-minute pilates, and simple exercises for toning abs. Aside from moving, her wellness tips for feeling her best are simple, she previously told Prevention: She practices gratitude, always makes time for family, stays hydrated, and prioritizes good posture.

And of course, staying in touch with the community of supporters she’s built over the last three decades helps, too. “I have really enjoyed the changes and growing with my people and growing with my fans that have stayed with me for 35 years,” she said. “It’s so fun.”

And it’s evidence that anyone can thrive at any age.
