Get the Flexispot EN1 for $260 (save $90)

Shopping for a standing desk? Smart idea: Sitting all day is bad for you. A motorized desk makes it simple to shift between sitting and standing positions, something experts recommend doing at regular intervals. So don’t sit down on this deal: For a limited time, the Flexispot EN1 55-inch standing desk is on sale for $260, the lowest price since way back in 2021. In fact, this desk rarely dips below its $350 list price. The discount is available for three colors:

I’ve used a standing desk for years, typically switching positions every 45 minutes or so. When I’m standing, I like to sway a little bit, move my hips and basically just fidget on my feet — a great way to get the blood moving while staying productive.

The EN1 is a fairly no-frills desk, with no drawers or USB ports or anything like that (though you can easily add either with aftermarket accessories). It does include four memory presets, which is great if you share the desk with someone else: You can set your preferred sit/stand heights and your co-worker can do likewise. Then, with the press of a button, the desk raises or lowers accordingly.

You can also make manual adjustments using the up-down arrow buttons.

Assembly is fairly straightforward, though it may take two people owing to the size and weight of the desk. Basically, you’re just going to screw the frame into the underside of the top — which, incidentally, is a single piece of wood. Some standing desks use a two-piece top, resulting in a seam running across the center. This is better.

I haven’t tested this particular desk (yet), but nearly 3,500 Amazon customers collectively rated it 4.6 stars out of 5. That’s a pretty rousing endorsement, ample evidence that you’re likely to love the EN1.
