Gisele Bündchen Gives Wellness Tips In Abs-Bearing IG Photo

  • Gisele Bündchen just posted on Instagram, and wrote a caption that talks about her best health and wellness tips for dealing with stress.
  • In one photo, Gisele also showed everyone how totally strong her core is in a cute yoga set.
  • This star loves to meditate, and prefers to do it early in the morning.

If you take a scroll through Gisele Bündchen’s Instagram, you’ll likely see some serene photos of the model holding a yoga pose on a beach, or with her daughter, or really anywhere at all. This celeb is not shy about sharing all the details on her wellness practices with fans on Instagram, and her most recent post sheds some light on how she deals with stress. Of course, she also took the moment to bare her epically-sculpted abs in a chic yoga set, too.

“Managing stress is part of life and while we can’t always control our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them and try to find healthy ways to deal with it,” she wrote in the caption.

The post explains the five different ways she recommends people deal with stress. Up first? Physical activity. “It doesn’t need to be weights at the gym,” Gisele writes. “Find something that you enjoy, dance, yoga, run, play a sport. The important thing is getting your body moving so you can benefit from the release of endorphins.” Next is walking in nature. “Spending just 20 minutes a day connecting with nature can help lower stress and balance hormone levels,” Gisele explains.

Third is meditation, and what she calls “conscious breathing.” Then she recommends using “herbal supplements” like Ashwagandha, and finally, eating a balanced, healthy diet. “Do your best to avoid sugary, processed foods and try to eat more whole food that nourish your body. ✨,” the model finished her post.

Of course, Gisele might seem like the poster child for healthy living right now, but she has been open about the fact that health and wellness has been a journey for her. In her twenties, life looked a lot different.

“I used to wake up in the morning with two cigarettes and a Moca Frappuccino with whipped cream,” she told Women’s Health this fall. This led to lack of sleep, severe depression, and anxiety. She eventually decided to change her diet, quit smoking, exercise, and take supplements. Now, she fuels her body with things that solely benefit her: jogging, yoga, and of course, meditating.

In a March Instagram post, Gisele shared a pic of herself doing yoga on the beach. Her caption sums up her stance on health and wellness: “Being healthy is more than a clean diet and exercise. It’s about our attitudes, emotions, beliefs, thoughts and actions.”

She added, “When life gets challenging always remember that the sun rises everyday bringing a new opportunity for us to try again and do better. It can get intense out there and we can get easily distracted by the noise. Awareness is key. What energy you are nurturing?”

As for those killer abs, Gisele told WH that she’ll take about a three mile jog with her dogs before doing a workout like jiu-jitsu, weightlifting, or yoga. When the weather is nice, she’ll even go paddleboarding or kyaking as she likes to prioritize doing something in nature every day, per WH.

    You go, Gisele!
