I just turned 40 and this affordable moisturizer that’s 20% off at Amazon this weekend is my skincare secret weapon

Humble brag alert: I just turned 40, but people often think I’m much younger. Inevitably, they comment on my skin and without fail I start going on and on about the one product I swear has kept my complexion soft and smooth for years: Pond’s Rejueveness Face Cream. I use it religiously every morning, and it’s one of the few skincare products I can’t live without. It’s currently marked down at Amazon, so I’m shouting it from the rooftops. Go buy this moisturizer at the Amazon sale ASAP!

Key Ingredients: Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Collagen | Scent: Fresh | Volume: 14.1 oz.

Some of the powerhouse ingredients in the Pond’s Rejuveness face cream? Alpha Hydroxy Acids which have exfoliating properties that aren’t too harsh and collagen which can help with hydration and firmness.

$14 at Amazon

Why is this a good deal?

Looking back at my personal purchase history on Amazon, I’ve never managed to snag the Pond’s Face Cream for less than $15, According to some price tracking apps, the moisturizer did drop down to just $12, but that was years ago. More recently, the average price has hovered around $16, so you’d be wise to grab it for just under $14 today.

Why do I need this?

If you’re looking for a reliable year-round moisturizer that isn’t too heavy or greasy, then this is a great pick. It’s hydrating enough for the cold, dry winter months, but isn’t too sticky or thick on your skin for the hot and humid summer months. I just do four dabs on my face — north, south, east, west — blend with my fingertips and my skin feels soft and smooth for the entire day.

Now, I’m no dermatologist, so I can’t speak to the validity of the anti-aging claims, but according to the brand this “cream smooths the appearance of fine lines in two weeks.”

Another reason I can’t quit the Pond’s Rejuveness Face Cream? It is huge. I mean, seriously the largest jar of facial moisturizer I’ve ever seen. (See pic below for reference.) As someone who’s pretty frugal when it comes to beauty products, I really appreciate that you can get so much of a great product for so little money. Even at full price, a jar this size is totally worth the investment. I’ve had my massive 14.1 oz. jar for months and I’m not even close to being done. Talk about a great value!

I have the 14.1 ounce cream for everyday use, and a smaller travel size for when I’m away from home.

What reviewers say

When it comes to vouching for how good the Pond’s Rejuveness Face Cream is, more than 9,600 shoppers have left ratings for the skincare product giving it 4.6 out of 5 stars.

“[I] was looking for a more cost effective product to save money and this ended up being way better than expected,” one customer wrote in their review. “I don’t miss my expensive cream as much. Love the way it makes my face feel.”

Another reviewer commented, “I noticed my neck skin was starting to show age. My mother had used Pond’s all her life, so I felt safe using it. After about a month, I noticed the aging on my neck skin had ostensibly improved. Now, I’m going to buy this regularly to apply to the parts of my arms exposed to sunlight (and showing slight wrinkling) with the hope it will do for it what it did for my neck skin—highly recommended.”

If you’re sensitive to scents, then you should know that some shoppers found the smell of this Pond’s cream unpleasant.

“I really like this moisturizer! I was using the Tatcha brand from Sephora, but it is so expensive and i did not want to spend that kind of money at the time. I was hesitant at first to try this moisturizer, but I am really happy that i did. The smell isn’t super great but other than that it works great!” one customer explained.

For what it’s worth, I don’t love highly fragranced skincare products, but I have to say I don’t even notice the smell of this cream when I apply it.

In addition to the extra large 14.1 ounce size, this Pond’s face cream also comes in a smaller 1.75 ounce size that’s perfect for travel.
