I’m a pro baker and these are the 24 Prime Day kitchen deals actually worth buying for Prime Day 2024

Did you somehow manage to miss out on the first round of Prime Day? Hey, we get it — life gets in the way sometimes. In any event, we’re glad you’re here; we’re even gladder to say that, if you’re in the market for some new gear for your galley, there are still a ton of mouth-watering markdowns to sink your teeth into. We’ve been tracking price histories on major projects and doing all the behind-the-scenes work to bring you the best deals on kitchen products, tools, pots, pans, gadgets and appliances.

As a former professional baker who now hunts for the best savings like it’s my job (which it literally is), I know what to look for when it comes to appliances, cooking tools and more. So, what’s caught my eye? For starters, a top-notch KitchenAid stand mixer (discounted by $80) is a must for any home baker. And if you’d rather not turn your oven on — or sweat outside — this summer, grab a highly rated air fryer for its all-time lowest price.

Got your cart ready? Go ahead and snag these early Prime Day sales before they’re toast. Happy saving!

I used to bake for a living, and my trusty KitchenAid stand mixer is my go-to appliance. Cake batters, cookie doughs, breads, frostings, meringues — you name it, I’ve probably made it using this mighty machine. Unlike flimsier mixers, this one is built to last (there’s a reason KitchenAids are often passed down from one generation to the next).

At 4.5 quarts, it can hold enough dough to make up to eight dozen cookies at a time, though it won’t take up much room in your kitchen. Oh, and you’ll get a beater, dough hook and whisk attachments for making practically any baked good under the sun. It’s only dipped lower than its current sale price once this year, and not by very much.

If you’ve been holding out for an on-sale Vitamix, this model is currently marked down to the best price we’re seeing online — it’s nearly $90 off. The 64-ounce container can hold large batches of hot soup and refreshing smoothies, while the brand’s best-in-class blades break down ice and frozen ingredients like a champ.

“I have had many blenders and have never been as happy as I am with this Vitamix,” raved a convert. “I researched (a lot!) before I purchased and although the cost is a bit more than most other blenders, it is worth every penny we spent. I like chia seeds in my smoothies, and no other blender I have had has the ability to blend them so well. It’s as if the chia seeds weren’t even added, it’s so smooth…”

Using a filtered pitcher can help prevent you from drinking water that’s laden with impurities. This popular, BPA-free Brita reduces copper, cadmium and mercury levels for better-tasting H2O, in addition to minimizing the taste and odor from chorine (ick). Its 6-cup capacity is on the smaller size, meaning it won’t take up much room in your fridge, and it’ll alert you when it’s time to swap out the filter. At nearly 40% off, this is as good a price as we’ve seen.

“This water filter pitcher is perfect for my family of four,” wrote a shopper. “It has saved us money because we no longer have to buy as many bottled waters. I was literally buying four cases of 48 bottles of water every two weeks, and now I’m only buying two cases. This is a must-have. It is easy to clean and the filter lasts two months. The flow rate is smooth. This pitcher fits perfectly in our refrigerator.”

Rise and (ditch the) grind — with this brewer, just fill with water, place your K-Cup of choice inside and you’ve got a fresh cup in minutes. But what really sets this model apart is the fact that it has an iced coffee setting that’ll be a lifesaver during those summer scorchers.

It’s rarely on sale for this price, its lowest to date.

“This is a total game-changer!” declared a fan. “Customizable temperature control and brew sizes. Strong brew button for bold flavor, iced setting for hot days, and hot water on demand for soups or oatmeal. Fast brewing, large 75-oz reservoir and easy cleanup with [the] removable drip tray. Maintenance reminder ensures top-notch performance. In short, it’s convenient, customizable and consistently serves up delicious coffee.”

An air fryer is just the ticket when you want a hot meal without turning on the oven. This top-rated model heats up quickly and holds up to 2.5 pounds of fries or 14 wings at a time. Plus, it can be used to dehydrate food, proof bread and even bake desserts. We’ve never seen it on sale for as low as this before.

“So easy to use!” gushed a fan. “Heats [up] fast and effectively crisps food without leaving it dry. Used with just a very small amount of oil, items come out with the taste and texture of a traditional fryer. Oil-free cooking is faster than the oven and doesn’t heat up the kitchen. Easy to clean.”

An 11-piece, nonstick cookware set for 55 bucks? There’s gotta be a catch, right? Nope! This top-seller comes with two frying pans, two saucepans, a sauté pan, two silicone lids, two fridge storage lids and — wait for it — two removable handles to save space when storing. This is close to as low as we’ve ever seen the collection.

“I got these to make some more space in my cabinets,” wrote a buyer. “These take up a quarter of the space my old pots and pans used. They work great on my glass stove top. They are so easy to clean and have not scratched, dented or stained!”

This aesthetically pleasing tumbler will have you going, “Stanley who?” with its leakproof lid, convenient carrying handle and easy-sip straw. Plus, it keeps drinks cold for hours, and this 24-ounce size fits in most cup holders. At $19, it’s more affordable than most big-name water bottles on the market, and this is one of the best prices we’ve seen it marked down to.

“When the straw is down, it’s 100% leakproof!” declared a user. “Easy to drink from [the] straw, cute color and aesthetic! Water has stayed nice and cold on my hot Colorado hikes and it fits wonderfully in the side of my small day-trip hike backpack!”

Henckels has been crafting knives for over a century, so the brand knows a thing or two about what makes a quality set. This bestselling set comes with just about every type of blade a home cook could need: a 3-inch paring knife, 5-inch serrated utility knife, 7-inch santoku knife, 8-inch chef’s knife and 8-inch bread knife. Also included: six 4.5-inch steak knives, a professional honing steel, kitchen shears and a hardwood knife block. Whew!

This bestselling collection is majorly marked down from its list price of $345, though we’ve never actually seen it shoot that high. Still this Prime Day deal beats the typical $150 we’ve seen it going for of late.

“I had been used to ordinary knives until my brother, who is a chef, convinced me to upgrade to Henckels,” explained a user. “I must admit, I was a bit nervous at first, worrying about cutting myself, but the grip on these knives keeps my hands from slipping. They are extremely sharp and do a great job in the kitchen.”

At 56% off, the slice is right when it comes to this popular set. If you could use one less thing to remember, go ahead and cross “sharpen knives” off your to-do list: These knives come housed in an attractive wooden block with slots that hone each blade every time you use them.

The set includes an 8-inch chef’s knife, a 6-inch utility knife, a 5-inch santoku knife, a 3.5-inch paring knife, kitchen shears and the aforementioned block. The triple-riveted handle is contoured to feel comfortable in your hand, allowing you to chop more confidently, and each tip is labeled so you’ll know which knife you’re reaching for.

“Compact,” wrote one five-star fan. “I love my new knife set. They are really sharp and look nice on my counter.”

No one wants to sip lukewarm hard seltzer (ick), so keep your summer libations nice and cool with this Yeti sleeve. It fits 12-ounce slim cans and its double-wall vacuum insulation helps your bev retain its icy-coldness. Just toss it in the dishwasher when it’s time to clean.

FYI, it rarely goes on sale for less than this.

“Just what I was looking for!” said a fan. “They seriously keep a beer/drink cold for hours, they’re durable, the lid is sturdy and easy to use, and me and my BF love how they feel in the hand — weight, size and texture!”

Le Creuset who? I cook with Lodge Dutch ovens at home, and this one is just the right size for a smaller household. The slick enameled interior cleans like a dream, while the sturdy cast iron offers excellent heat distribution and retention. Plus, it’s so pretty you won’t mind leaving it on the stove for everyone to admire.

“I’ve had my Lodge Dutch oven for almost a year,” shared a user. “One of the best purchases I have ever made. Don’t tell my KitchenAid mixer, but I think I love this more. I’m Greek and cook a lot. … It’s a great item for one-pot meals. While it gets plenty hot because it’s cast iron, the enamel makes deglazing and cleaning a breeze. … Even with metal utensils, I haven’t had any chips. This gets used almost daily. … Lodge is a great brand for those of us who can’t quite afford Le Creuset.”

This is admittedly for an outdoor kitchen, but one Yahoo writer dubbed it the “Best Fire Pit for Cooking.” If you’re envisioning a summer filled with hot dogs, seared veggies and, of course, s’mores, this is the one that belongs in your backyard. The grill grate swivels for easy access, and you can use the outer edge for holding drinks and more. There’s still plenty of backyard-worthy weather ahead of us, so grab it while it’s over 45% off.

“This was fairly easy to assemble and it gives off great heat … enough to keep 6-7 of us warm with one bundle of wood from the grocery store,” said a reviewer. “I love the additional burner for grilling. We’ve cooked corn, burgers and steak on this thing, and so far, so good.”

Enjoying a warm breakfast on a busy morning has never been so easy, thanks to this contraption that’ll make a bacon, egg and cheese (or two) without you having to wait at the drive-through. Just fill each tray with your bread, eggs, cheese and any toppings you’d like, and it’ll cook everything so that it’s nice and melty by the time you’ve gotten dressed.

We haven’t seen it on sale for this low since 2021, and it hasn’t dipped lower since 2020, making this one of the best early Prime Day kitchen deals so far.

“Trust me when I say, it’s a game changer for breakfast lovers everywhere,” raved a happy customer. “Not only is it super easy to use (just pop in your ingredients, close the lid, and voila!), but it’s also incredibly easy to clean. No more messy stovetops or multiple pans needed — just one compact device that does it all.”

Love ice-cold drinks? This machine will be your main “freeze” this summer. Many a TikToker has declared their love of this high-tech contraption, which produces irresistibly chewy nugget-style ice (or, “fancy ice,” as one reviewer called it). Needless to say, it’s a hot-ticket item, which is why we’re super excited to see it marked down to its best price of 2024.

It can crank out 1.6 pounds per hour, or 38 pounds per day, according to the manufacturer. Plus, it can hold up to 3 pounds of ice at a time. That’s a lot of really iced tea! Reviewers say the SmartHQ app, which can be used to schedule ice production, is user-friendly, and you can even pair it with Alexa and Google if you want to operate it via voice control.

“Absolutely love this little machine!” exclaimed one shopper. “Big fan of chewy ice, and after only enjoying it from the few restaurants and convenience stores that sell drinks with it, I finally have delicious chewy ice at home. Easy setup, and [I] quickly have enough ice to satisfy my family.”

Faster food, cooler kitchen — this compact appliance is a no-brainer, especially during the warmer months when turning on your oven is the last thing you want to do. I’ve used it for everything from cakes and brownies to baked pasta and even roasted tofu and vegetables.

It heats up in no time, plus it can fit a decent amount of food: six slices of toast, a 12-inch pizza or even a 4-pound chicken. The LED display has six functions: Toast, Bagel, Bake, Broil, Keep Warm and Reheat, and I’m positive it’ll be getting a ton of use this summer. This is the lowest it’s been since 2023.

Yes, this top-seller might technically be called a “meat” thermometer, but don’t underestimate its value when it comes to liquids and baked goods. The most accurate way to tell whether food is done is by taking its temperature, and this doodad presents a reading in seconds. At $9, this is close to as low as we’ve seen it since 2022.

“I can’t believe I’ve gone so long without a good cooking thermometer,” wrote an impressed cook. “This thing works great, seems accurate. I like the magnet, so I can keep it on my fridge for easy finding. I used it to make yogurt — takes all the guessing out of that process.”

What sets this beverage machine apart from a manual model like the SodaStream (also on sale!) is the fact that it’s electrically powered — no work needed on your part aside from choosing your preferred settings. On that note, this machine lets you customize the amount of bubbles in your drink (if you want any at all) as well as the flavor.

It’s down to a new all-time low price, meaning the time to buy is now. And while it still might seem like a splurge, just think of how much money it’ll save you on canned or bottled soda and seltzer in the long run.

“This product has been great and has helped both myself and my wife cut back on our soda purchases!” exclaimed one happy user. “They give you a decent sample size of the flavors and they are all pretty strong. The customization options are really nice to have as well, in case you want more carbonation or flavor in your drink, or less. The option of mixing flavors is nice too!”

Do you have a bit of a Starbucks obsession? It’ll be more like Star-(save some)-bucks once you get a load of this powerful device, which will have you whipping up and enjoying foamy beverages in no time. Let’s be real — the appeal of a cappuccino starts dwindling the longer one waits in that chaotic a.m. line, and why shell out for something that’s so easy to make at home? This gizmo is an impressive 65% off.

“So easy to use to make a cafe au lait or cappuccino,” wrote a caffeine fiend. “I have also used it to whip eggs quickly for fluffy omelets. If you like frothy milk, save yourself the $5 coffees — this thing pays for itself.”

And to really up your at-home java game, this No. 1 bestseller is on sale for its best price of 2024. You’ll feel like you have a personal cafe right in your kitchen, thanks to this machine’s 16 precision grind settings, and the digital temperature control helps ensure your latte comes out just right. There’s also a steam wand for foaming milk, and the whole process, from grinding to brewing espresso, takes under a minute.

“This product is terrific and exceeded my expectations,” shared a caffeinated customer. “The machine is very easy to use and delivers a good quality espresso every time. The large water tank is a bonus, and the ability to adjust the grind size is just fantastic. I found it surprisingly easy to clean too. … I’ll definitely be saving money on buying coffee out for sure!”

These No. 1 bestselling containers are “clearly” doing something right if tens of thousands of shoppers gave them a perfect five-star rating. In addition to helping cut down on food waste, these bins allow you to group your food products and beverages by category for a more cohesive, easy-to-navigate fridge. Juice boxes, veggies, fruits, sauces, dressings — each can have its own designated space. Plus, if something happens to spill, it’ll be contained in the bin, which is much easier to clean than an entire sticky fridge shelf.

This is close to the lowest price we’ve seen, so grab a few sets for your pantry and under your sinks too.

“Amazed at the difference these bins have made in my refrigerator and freezer organization and space,” said a satisfied shopper. “I have recently transitioned from a large French door refrigerator with lots of space to a side-by-side. I was very frustrated with the reduced space, and it was always a mess. Now, my clear bins are easy to organize and help me keep like-things together on both sides of the refrigerator.”

Don’t forget about essentials like these wildly popular trash bags, because you’re always gonna need ’em! Reviewers love these for their dual-layer rip and leak protection, flexible, expansive design and odor control. We haven’t seen them priced this low in about two years, so grab a bunch while you can save big.

“These are my favorite trash bags, I have stayed loyal for years,” said a repeat buyer. “They are the perfect size and never fall down. They rarely leak, and on the rare occasion that they do leak, it is usually because of user error (i.e. husband or kids put something heavy/soaking wet or sharp in the trash). The scent is just enough to hide the smell of the trash, but does not overpower the kitchen!”
