Spring is always filled with warmer weather, blooming flowers, and a whole bunch of new baby animals. Then, by the time summer rolls around, these babies are cruising around on their own, navigating the world. Or at least they’re trying too! But sometimes, just as kids make mistakes, animals do too.
In a recent clip from TikTok user @bflolily, a baby raccoon made the mistake of falling into the pool. Thankfully this couple noticed and sprang into action. Take a look at this rescue and prepare yourself for cuteness overload at the end.

Be still our hearts! We’re so happy this kind couple was home and saw the baby raccoon in the water. Talk about being at the right place and at the right time. We don’t want to think about what might’ve happened. The poor baby was so terrified at first. Those cries were painful to hear, but as soon as the little one knew he was just trying to help, all was good.
“Not him getting the ‘Dad talk on’ the way out like, ‘Next time watch what cha doing!’” commented @momsicle_2689. HA! The raccoon was totally getting a lecture from Dad and when that happens you know he means business. The lecture comes from a place of love.
Another TikToker said, “Aww, he brought you his family.” Does it get any sweeter than that?! This couple ended up staying with the raccoons for a few hours to see if the mom would return, but no luck. They couldn’t leave them alone so they instead brought them to the SPCA. They’re thankfully getting the care they need.
