The options for doing yoga in Spain are increasing. The Brazilian chain Smart Fit landed in Spain with a store yoga, Vidya Studioaccording to CMD Sports. The new center will be located at number 10 Bárbara de Braganza street, in the Justicia neighborhood, in Madrid. The amount of the investment has not been disclosed.
The premises will have an area of 500 square meters distributed over two floors, in which two types of yoga will be practiced, at room temperature, such as Hatha Yoga, Yoga with Props, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga; and at 40 degrees Celsius, called Hot Yoga, in which Vinyasa Yoga is practiced.
Madrid is only the beginning of the expansion plan that the chain has in Spain. Smart Fit has already signed thirteen projects to open yoga centers in Spain. “We want it to reach the big cities little by little and that it be known and extended to the entire national level,” said Agustina Numer, country manager from Vidya Studio, to the aforementioned medium.

In fact, the studio in the Spanish capital will become the second Vidya Studio that Smart Fit opens in Europe, after having opened the doors in March of his first club in Lisbon (Portugal). Currently, the brand manages six stores, four of which operate under a franchise regime.
Smart Fit is committed to a franchise model for Vidya Studio, which requires an initial investment of 840,000 reais (161,193 euros), to which must be added a fee of 90,000 reais (17,200 euros), 8% of royalties and 2% for marketing. The model calculates a monthly income of between 100,000 and 150,000 reais.
Grupo Smart Fit closed the first quarter of 2023 with 1,231 operating centersboosting its revenues to 982 million reais (180 million euros), 58% more than in the same period of 2022 and exceeding four million customers globally.
Smart Fit Group, in addition to having Vidya Studio under its pool of centers operates another 27 clubs under the banners Bio Ritmo and O2. In addition to 19 studies storeamong which those of the Race Bootcamp, Job House and Tonus Gym brands stand out.
