Otto Porter Jr., the third overall pick in the 2013 draft and a member of Golden State's 2021-22 championship team, announced his retirement after 11 seasons in the NBA.

Porter, 30, ends his career with averages of 10.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 527 games with Washington, Chicago, Orlando, Golden State and finally Toronto. His career 39.7 three-point percentage ranks 61st in NBA history.
Porter, the third overall pick out of Georgetown in 2013, averaged just 2.1 points as a rookie but steadily improved to 14.7 points per game in his fifth season.
Porter was frequently hampered by injuries, particularly during stints with the Bulls and Magic, before playing in 63 games and averaging 8.2 points per game primarily as a reserve for Golden State's most recent winning team.
He played sporadically for the Raptors over the past two seasons before his trade to Utah on February 8. He was released Monday without appearing with the Jazz, followed shortly after by his announcement.
