The CEO of Gym Positivity uploaded a Twitter video where he first showed the clip that irked him. The video was uploaded by @danialalam_ who also captioned his video, “She kicked me out the gym.” The person in question was using the treadmill, and he was shirtless. This is when a very polite employee of the gym requested that he wear his T-shirt since it was part of the rules. The man wore it in front of her, but as soon as she left, he again removed his T-shirt, disregarding the gym rules.

After showing the clip, Joey Swoll started explaining the problem in the video. “Respect the rules of the gym and staff when they enforce them. If you can’t, STAY HOME,” was the caption that Swoll wrote. He also said, “You know, I am not the best lip reader, but I’ll bet she didn’t tell you to put your shirt on because you make other people insecure. She told you to put your shirt on because that’s the rules of the gym.” He pointed out that abiding by the rules was necessary because they applied to everyone. He also added, “You act like you’re better than everybody else just to make this video so that you can get some likes and attention on social media. Really? You need to do better.”

The CEO of Gym Positivity was asked in JAXXON PODCAST about his reason to start this journey, and he said, “I saw a video of a young woman making fun of a kid at the gym; it just I was like enough is enough.” He also added that many people thought this was a new version of the bodybuilder, but he corrected them, saying, “This isn’t a new me I just haven’t been vocal about this type of stuff on social media.”

He is very protective of the people at the gym and ensures that they step up and talk about problematic behaviors. Joey understands other people’s struggles since he went through some dark times with addiction to opioids and was a victim of bullying in his early days.
