Dukes to Face BYU in Omaha in NCAA Tournament

Brooklyn, New York – The Duquesne University men's basketball team earned an 11th seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament and will face No. 6 seed BYU in Omaha, Nebraska, on Thursday, March 21. The Dukes, making their first appearance in the Big Dance since 1977, earn an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament after winning the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship with a 57-51 victory over VCU on Sunday at Barclays Center.

Grant was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship after scoring 10 points in the title game against the Rams. He averaged 16.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 42.6 percent (23 of 54) from the floor in four championship games.

Ticket requests will be prioritized based on lifetime donations to Duquesne University Athletics and number of years as a season ticket holder. If tickets remain after the team's ticket allocation is exhausted, a lottery system will be used to offer people the opportunity to purchase seats. Details and process for the lottery system will be provided on Tuesday, March 19. Ticket prices range from $90 to $120 and are only available for the session in which the Dukes play. Ticket locations will be determined by the Athletics Department. If you want to have guaranteed tickets, Duquesne recommends purchasing them directly from the NCAA or on the secondary market.
