Kayla Itsines has hit back at claims she hired a makeup artist and hairdresser to get her daughter Arna , four, ready for her preschool photos.
On Thursday, the Adelaide Advertiser claimed the millionaire fitness star enlisted a ‘full glam squad’ to tend to the little girl while she was ‘hand fed brownies’.
The fitness star, 32, took to Instagram on Thursday to slam the alleged extravagant expense.
‘Wow absolutely not. Zero. Never,’ Kayla wrote over the article.
The influencer explained Arna had come to work with her the morning prior to her being dropped off from school, and while her hair and makeup team were getting Kayla ready for a shoot they decided to help get her daughter ready for the photos.
Award-winning hairdresser Massimo Tirimacco tied Arna’s hair back, and famed makeup artist Ali Buss brushed her brows.
‘Arna came with me to work this morning and my hair and makeup artist were so excited, when I started doing her hair for school photos, they wanted to do it,’ Kayla explained.
‘No one is hiring a hair and makeup team for preschool photos for their kid. Arna is just lucky everyone loves her.’
Arna’s hair was styled in a high ponytail for her school photos, similar to the one her famous mother usually rocks.
Kayla received the lion’s share of the AU$400million sale of her fitness empire Sweat, which took place in 2021.
She is said to have earned US$225million (AU$300million) following the sale of Sweat to an American software giant, according to The Australian.
Kayla and her ex-husband Tobi Pearce, who were together for eight years, co-founded the Bikini Body Training Company – later renamed Sweat – after meeting in late 2012.
More recently, the Adelaide-based star gave birth to her second child, a son named Jax, with fiancé Jae Woodroffe in January this year.
Kayla and Jaye were engaged last July.
