Curry earned his 28th win against James, leading the head-to-head battle 28-22. Each led their respective teams in scoring, with the all-time leader in three-pointers making 31 points for the Dubs and the NBA's all-time leading scorer with 40 points for the Lakers. Curry recently celebrated his 36th birthday, making Curry and James the two oldest current stars in the league.

NEW YORK SCOUTING REPORT
The New York Knicks are in the midst of a four-game West Coast trip, having beaten the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday and the Sacramento Kings on Saturday before Monday's showdown at Chase Center. New York's leading scorer, Jalen Brunson, scored 45 points and 42 points in the two wins, ranking fifth in the league in scoring (27.5 points per game). The Knicks have three players who played college basketball together at Villanova (Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo) and have received significant contributions from each of them. Hart recorded a triple-double in a recent win over the Philadelphia 76ers that began his current three-game winning streak, leading the team in points (20), rebounds (19) and assists (10). DiVincenzo ranks third in the league in three-pointers made (212), behind only Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic.
