Huétor Tájar’s athlete serge garnido28 years old and belonging to the Dayron club, has managed to be among the 30 best athletes in the world in his category (25 to 29 years old) in the Hyrox fitness championship, which has been held in the city of Manchester (United Kingdom).
The Town Hall of Huétor Tajar has sponsored the Hueto athlete, who is also a swimming instructor in the municipal swimming pool and a basketball instructor) so that he could attend this important sporting event in which athletes from all over the world participated.
Guarnido managed to complete the route scheduled in one hour and ten minutes, ranking second in Spain in its age group.
Hyrox is a new international competition that combines 8 kilometers of running with 8 functional workouts. All races held anywhere in the world follow the same format.
