Salter expects to invoice 12.5 million euros this 2023

If this goal of invoicing 12.5 million euros is achieved at the end of this 2023, Salter would increase its figure from last 2022 by 8%. Taking into account the projects and the evolution of sales during the first semester, the CEO of the company, Marta Peydro, is confident in achieving this goal, because, as she has stated, “we are going through a very good moment in general and we are confident that this trend continues during the second half of the year”.

The board maintains that Spanish gyms have experienced a “significant improvement during the first half of 2023, compared to the same period last year.” That improvement has translated into a 10% increase in Salter’s sales in this division during the first half of this year.

STUCK HOME FITNESS

Regarding the domestic fitness market, Peydro points to a stagnation in demand in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.

All in all, the executive points out that “this was foreseeable, since during the pandemic there was an increase in demand of historical magnitudes, but once that health crisis was overcome, it was foreseeable that the market would correct itself and return to similar levels.” to those of 2019”.

PROJECTION WITH SALTER CLOUD

In relation to Salter’s achievements during the first half of 2023, Marta Peydro highlights the launch of the Salter Cloud ecosystem.

Salter Cloud constitutes an ecosystem in the cloud developed entirely by the brand and consists of a digital platform that connects with the new lines of Smart equipment from Salter, both for bodybuilding and professional range cardio and homefitness.

The circle extends to outdoor sports, since Salter has closed an agreement with the Strava application to share data, so that, according to Peydro, “the user can monitor and obtain data on their performance both inside the gym and in your home or in your outdoor sports routine through the Salter Fit app”.

Peydro has recognized that “this project is proving to be of great importance for the company and the positive results are already beginning to be seen”.

EXPORT INCREASE

Regarding its exports, Salter has registered an increase of 7% during the first half of 2023 compared to the end of 2022. Despite not opening new international markets in the field of professional facilities, Salter has achieved growth with its clients of the hotel sector.

For the second half of 2023, the main challenges of the company foreseen by its maximum manager are the consolidation of the Salter Cloud project and the focus on its commercialization in all the gyms where the brand is present.
