Having recently celebrated the iconic club's 120th anniversary with a special kit for the 2021/2022 season, this year, Y-3 and Real Madrid have teamed up once again to bring Yohji Yamamoto's distinctive perspective to one of the most decorated athletes from the sporting world, with a seven-piece travel collection.
Inspired by Real Madrid and Y-3's signature monochromatic color palette, the travel collection itself consists of a sleek and stylish selection of all-black pieces. Crafted at the intersection of tailoring and sportswear, the set of pieces includes a short-sleeve polo shirt, a long-sleeve polo shirt, a pair of shorts, a pair of sweatpants, a sports t-shirt, a coach jacket and a top quality synthetic leather garment. jacket, each made from soft sports fabrics and finished with collaborative details like Yohji Yamamoto's instantly recognizable handwritten signature and the Real Madrid crest.
Accompanying the launch of the travel collection is a campaign shot by pioneering London-based photographer Gabriel Moses featuring past and present Real Madrid icons including Naomie Feller, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba, Misa Rodríguez and Zinedine Zidane.
