Late ‘Aesthetically-Honed’ Bodybuilding Icon, Who Died in a Tragic Train Accident, Recently Hailed as the Epitome of Fitness

Some individuals leave such a lasting impression on people’s minds that even after they pass away, their legacy lives on. They prove their mettle and win people’s hearts through charisma, hard work, and talent. One such person was Greg Plitt (1977-2015), a brilliant artist, fitness model, actor, and bodybuilding expert. His multifaceted presence had created waves of approval in the bodybuilding industry.

Plitt left the world too soon, as at the age of 37, he was hit by a freak commuter train accident. Recently, a popular bodybuilding page, Chicago Adonis Bodybuilding, paid tribute to Greg Plitt. The motivational coach was filming a video on the railway tracks when the accident occurred in 2015.

The Instagram post by @chicagoadonis shows a picture of the actor bending towards his right side while holding a ball. The angle of his inclination makes all his muscles bulge out, giving him an incredibly brawny look. His pecs, chest, and abs make a perfect union of symmetry. The proportionality of his body is the highlight of the photo.

The page captioned the post, “GREG PLITT (1977-2015), the versatile and aesthetically-honed international fitness star, was one of the world’s top fitness cover models for nearly a decade before his tragic passing”. According to Greg Plitt’s official website, the model had graced over 200 fitness magazines, eight national commercials, and 25 romance novels. The list goes on. He had won many titles, including one of the “25 Fittest Americans” by Men’s Fitness and “One of the 60 Sexiest Men Alive” by DNA Magazine.

Greg Plitt was a US Army soldier when a modeling agency approached him to pose for a fitness magazine. Rest is history. He has acted in famous movies like Terminator Salvation and The Good Shepherd. His contribution to various industries made one fan comment, “His death was such a tragic waste. Too young.” He arguably could have achieved a lot more and contributed to society had fate not taken him away.

Plitt was a motivational speaker who ignited the minds of people. Moreover, he asked people to turn to the child in them and find out what they once wanted. The motivational speaker wanted his followers to be extremely hardworking in whatever field they selected to work in. “There are no losers,” he claimed in one of his inspirational videos on social media.

The fitness model gave the example of the Olympics, where an average person has achieved great things with passion and commitment. The actor of NBC’s ‘Days of our lives’ and Bravo’s ‘Workout‘ had made it a point to push people to be their best. His commitment to fitness will always be remembered.
