Kayla Itsines has revealed the reason why she decided to aim her fitness training program at women.

The fitness influencer and entrepreneur, 32, told the Australian Financial Review she had a bad experience with a male client when she was 18 and training people in their homes.

‘I rocked up to this guy’s house and he opened the door, wearing normal clothes, not exercise clothes,’ she explained.

‘Alarm bells, immediately. I was going through the consent form and he was staring at me. It was very scary.’

The trainer then told the man she needed to get something from her car and never returned.
